Adigma provides custom marketing services for multi-location brands using data-driven paid search and other digital marketing tactics.  Many of their clients are franchise owners with locations in different markets, making it a priority to aggregate data across channels and franchise locations, with roll-up reports and dashboards on franchisor, portfolio, region or franchisee performance. NinjaCat enables Adigma to deliver stunning franchisor and franchisee reports and interactive dashboards that their clients love.

“Reporting is half the value of our business. We are able to say look how awesome we are at doing this difficult work and look at the great return we can provide to you. Our reporting enables us to deliver that.”

- Gabe Thayn, CMO at Adigma

The Challenge

Adigma wanted to offer better reporting to their franchise clients while cutting back on the time required to prepare the reports.

The time spent creating the perfect reports in Excel or Google Sheets was time-consuming and expensive. Their team had become "macros samurais" to build out formulas and customizations for cross-channel reporting. Since their business was rapidly expanding, they needed a high-end reporting solution that would both scale and handle a franchise-based structure. They needed a solution to include not only automation, but dashboards that matched - exactly - what they had created in Excel. Precise, pixel-perfect customization.

Adigma looked at several reporting solutions, but found that only NinjaCat enabled them to produce data stories that resonated with their clients. With reporting templates in place, they could  communicate to clients what they were doing, explain performance, and highlight successes without being overly technical.

Additionally, they wanted to be able to offer deeper insights, further segment customer behaviors and pinpoint calls that led to certain actions like purchases and store visits. With NinjaCat reports and dashboards, along with NinjaCat call tracking, they gained this highly valuable insight. It also set Adigma apart, further strengthening their brand.

The Solution

The “wow” moment for Adigma as they were vetting NinjaCat, was seeing the customization, scalability and roll-up capabilities available in the platform.  NinjaCat worked with them closely and through the onboarding process helped  customize NinjaCat to work exactly how they needed it to work. The fact that NinjaCat could do exactly what they had setup in Excel automatically incorporate data from Google Analytics, AdWords, Bing, and other channels was the driving force for  Adigma to make the change.

“Until we discovered NinjaCat, we had never come across a reporting tool with this level of customization, in terms of showing all the things I wanted to show as well as hiding the things I didn't.”

- Gabe Thayn, CMO at Adigma

NinjaCat  saved Adigma thousands of dollars a month by giving the Adigma team more time for higher-level projects while NinjaCat does the heavy lifting and data crunching. In the past, they  lost clients–not because of poor performance–but because they couldn't communicate the performance in a way that made sense to clients. NinjaCat  allowed for deeper conversations about digital marketing performance and even opened up more budget for current and new campaigns.

The Results

Increased transparency in the reporting process led to happier clients and better pipeline opportunities. Reporting is now key in the sales process, with sample NinjaCat reports and dashboards helping clinch opportunities. Team morale is up, the brand is flourishing, current clients are happier, more prospects are interested and the competition is increasingly wary.
